[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
For a brief moment after being Revived, Terra considered just submitting to DEOXYS after it had roundly metaphorically beat some sense back into him with their monstrously powerful Psychic attacks. Both he and his partners had helped cleared the way for his friends to take on the intergalactic menace with as maximized odds of success as possible, his Pokemon couldn't do Splash against the Legend itself without being empowered by an Artifact,, and he'd nearly had his brain liquefied after it decided he was not needed in its 'experiments' anymore. He'd done his part and all he could in the Fight, to put it simply, so keeping his head down and letting his friends finish the job, while painful (both metaphorically and literally), was really the best he could do at this point. Right?

Wrong.

In an instant, the mountain of a man jammed his hand into his pocket/Inventory, pulled out a Max Potion, and injected himself with it with unflinching haste to fully heal himself (Including the PD Damage he took), before heaving himself off the ground in a backward frog leap, glaring at DEOXYS with unabated defiance. Even if he couldn't directly help put down this threat to the life and land of Cheshire, he could certainly still support his allies and cherished friends until the bitter end! Protecting and caring for Nathan, Shiva, Heart, and Spira was his solemn duty and highest priority, and you'd have to put him in the ground to stop him from fulfilling it with UNYIELDING PASSION!

Hearing Cosh's plan, Terra promptly sent out Dunny and Melly, and briskly began to issue his commands! "Dunny, use Disable on Cosh and then Curse on Cosh, then help others Dodge or avoid DEOXYS' attacks! Melly, intercept all DEOXYS' Attacks aimed at Nathan, Cosh, or Spira! We cannot hurt DEOXYS, but that will not stop us from defeating it! GO!"

Orders: Dunny's going to use Disable on Cosh and then Curse for him to pass onto DEOXYS PRIME, then use his remaining 3 Actions to help Spira, Nathan, and Cosh avoid getting hurt by trying to make them intangible/body block. Melly, meanwhile, will use Quick Attack to intercept and take a Hit for Nathan, Cosh, and from DP when need, and bark incessantly/annoyingly at it otherwise to maybe distract it. Finally, Terra himself will be directly assisting Nathan, moving quickly to his side to quickly heal him with a Max Potion of his own should he take any PD Damage from DP (So Nathan can focus on using his Max Potions on his/other Pokemon), and then throwing them out of the way out of any attack after getting healed that isn't blocked by Melly or Dunny. At that point (after healing Nathan), he'll also try to distract/annoy DP by criticizing its research/experiments to aggro onto him and take more hits for the team (while also distancing himself away from them to avoid getting them caught in crossfire), saying/shouting at it: "YOUR EXPERIMENTS ARE FLAWED! YOUR METHODS ARE FAULTY, AND YOUR RESEARCH UNENLIGHTENED! YOU ARE NOT A RESEARCHER, DEOXYS! YOU ARE A INCOMPETENT FRAUD!" Also, if no-one else does this, he'll also shout to the Scimitars/League if they have any Pokemon that can cast Heal Block on DEOXYS, which if they do and they do so before he could get a chance to heal Nathan, he'll default to throwing them out of harms way and making himself a target by inciting DP with said insult. If that doesn't irritate them or get its attention, then I suppose it ain't as much of a researcher as it claims to be, or very little pride! Terra and his partners might not be able to do much now, but he will do what he can with AGUSTO!

Dice Pools for Brawl and Channel are both 15 and both Pokemon are doing 5 Actions (And none of the Moves have Accuracy Penalties), so subtract Pain and Action cost as appropriate, Iron.

Since I no moment to change posts again @Iron, Honcrow will use Swagger on Cosh to transfer Confusion effect towards Prime Deoxys and transfer strengh boost to Quetzal. They will also focus in dodge and help others dodge. Since Deoxys can only receive damage from attacks of the Sword, Quetzal and Honcrow will help everyone survive.

Deoxys's latest position simply earns a head shake from Nathan.  "The bond between human and pokemon isn't a tangible thing you can study with logical, scientific methods, Deoxys.  You'll likely never understand it so long as you refuse to coexist peacefully with this world.  And as long as you threaten the safety and stability of this world, I'm afraid you'll find that to be a difficult task."

Princess is organizing her troops again!  Nathan doesn't send out a second pokemon to support her this time, but he doesn't need to.  They have the backing of their friends, the Combee, Cosh and the Scims (for now)...

The Sword empowers Princess's attacks once more!  5 more Attack Orders to allow for a little flexibility later in the Round if Princess and the Combee find they need to suddenly Evade attacks.

Nathan has 2 Max Potions prepared for whoever might need them (including himself), and is prepared to Evade attacks himself as well.  With the Tailwind and the aid of the Scims backing his evasion, Nathan might even almost be a blur himself.

Deoxys Prime Round 2

The Speediest characters move before anyone else can. Nathan blurs along right behind them, though his speed is partially illusory and partially real.

Sheer Cold 1
(1)(4)(6)(2)(2)(6) (3)(5)(1)
Deoxys takes 2 PDD for a total of 10.

Icy Wind 1
-1 Dex for Deoxys Prime, should that come up

Deoxys sends little motes of light, all while humming his subsonic song. One attaches to everyone on the battlefield or nearby, trainer and Pokemon alike. Then energy begins flowing outward from the rainbow gem, toward those motes of light. Unfortunately for Deoxys, Mega Steelix is nearby and acting as a lightning rod, and many of the arcs are redirected. Quetzal takes motes intended for Marco, Cosh, and all the trainers in the party.. Quetzal begins glowing with power, ready to use it in his next attacks, but taking that many Plot Device damages in a single turn is too much for the flying serpent, and he crashes to the ground, fainted. None of it was Lethal, however. Heart is still standing guard over Terra's prone form as Quetzal crashes to the ground, and helps shield the mountain of a man from the dust.

Honchkrow tries to evade with Super Luck.
(3)(4)(5)(6)(3)(5) (5)(6)(4)(5) Yes!

Melly runs about too, with Quick Attack, but is just a little behind for this attack and will better intercept next turn's attack.

The Shock Wave is multi-target, and thus not nearly as affected by Lightning Rod. Froslass, Luna, Dunny, Pangoro, Meowstic x2, and even Melly and Mamoswine are reduced to 1 hp.
Charizard just faints.
Pangoro's Evasion: (1)(1)(3)(1)(5)(4) (3)(5)(6)(3)(3) Not this time. He takes the full damage.

Deoxys clambers over to Shiva and drops his massive stoic face to hers. She begins feeling dizzy, despite the protection of the Shield. Pangoro leaps into the way, intercepting the psychic gaze with his Dark-infused body, and the dizzy feeling passes. Shiva rewards him with a quick Max Potion.

"This is... the one. Move aside, Pangoro." Deoxys pushes Pangoro effortlessly aside as the dark panda sinks its fists repeatedly into the yielding alien flesh.

As Deoxys reaches out for the Shield, Vespiquen arrives behind him to personally deliver a blow! She rakes her claws down his back, and little Combee grubs appear in the wounds and begin....chewing.

Deoxys shrieks out a subsonic shriek, and Shiva can feel the pain in that shriek for the first time.

Attack Order 1
(5)(5)(5)(2)(2)(2) (2)(2)(6)(3)(2)(3) (5)
That brings Deoxys to 12 PDD.

It brings its attention away from Shiva to scrape at its own back, sending chunks of regenerating flesh flying. Heart burns these to nothing with his increased firepower.

Disable 1
(6)(3)(1)(5)(5)(2) (2)
Cosh grimaces as he feels his magic leave him, but the Hauberk is still glowing as he collects debuffs to inflict on Deoxys all at once.

Instead, he moves the Helm's power to Kyuu for the next round only. (Has to be Kyuu's second action, or Cosh doesn't have time to empower the Fake Out)

Marco's Meowstic makes a sudden spin move and leaps up to land on Cosh's shoulder. It taps the Scimitar, and they share a look. Then Meowstic returns to Marco and winks.

Mamoswine gives Cosh an Odor Sleuth, in case Deoxys pulls out its own illusions.

Kyuu gives Cosh a Helping Hand and prepares Fake Out.

Ominous Wind 2 (without Helm)
(3)(3)(1)(5)(1)(2) (4)(5)
CD: (6) You got the buff for Froslass! Cosh will leave it there, since he's overwhelmed with buffs he's supposed to move to different locations and can only choose one target per turn.

The Shock Wave has nothing that will affect Deoxys.

With an explosive wave of psychic energy, Deoxys drives Vespiquen and the grubs back. Deoxys tries to wrest the Shield from Shiva, sending a wave of tendrils at her. Luckily, she is currently an illusion of five or six Shiva, and has orders to Evade.
(4)(2)(1)(1)(2)(3) (2)(3)(4)(1) Definitely not a critical hit. Deoxys WRENCHES the Shield away, but the Moltres Egg burns with a sudden burst of black and red fire and the Shield begins heating up in the same way. The fires of Keenglaive, specifically designed to burn Deoxys, force the alien invader to FLING the Shield as far away as it can, over Mt Molten. Shiva feels its protection leave her. So does Vespiquen, who halts in midair and turns toward Nathan.

He bravely swings the Sword again anyway, and indicates his Max Potion. Vespiquen will Evade if targeted next round, which she probably will be.

Melly is off like a shot to retrieve the Shield, if it can be easily found.

Attack Order 2
(3)(4)(2)(6)(4)(4) (2)(2)(5)(5)
This brings Deoxys to 14 PDD. The big alien is starting to slow down, and hasn't even been hit with a debuff wave yet.

Now it's time for Kyuu's big moment! The disarming little cat curls around the leg-tendrils until it gets close to Deoxys, then suddenly moves at the speed of sound to strike with Fake Out.

Fake Out 2
(6)(2)(4)(1)(5)(5) (6)(1)
Deoxys flinches at the unexpected power of the blow.

Dunny sacrifices himself with a Curse, a spell Cosh is very familiar with and will use to great effect.

Cosh grins as he unleashes all the pent up hell on Deoxys. Deoxys begins stumbling and making mistakes after being affected by a variety of debuffs for the first time in its entire life. A huge Meowstic eye appears within Deoxys' gem.

Marco grins. "Last time, they say Deoxys returned to space after its experiments ran their course. Not today, Deoxys. Not! Today!!"
Even as Deoxys tries to pull back, it finds it cannot leave the battlefield. "Today we finish this for real."

Cosh gives Marco a thumbs up. Then Cosh frowns as he feels something wrong with his own body every time he gazes upon Deoxys. He's not sure what's up with that yet.

Pangoro angrily uses Dark Pulse, to little effect. Makes him feel better though.

Meowstic sends an Imprison to Cosh, to lock down Psychic and some other of Deoxys' stab moves.

Mamoswine covers our side in Mist, excluding the flying Cosh in case he needs any further debuffs.

Honchkrow gives Cosh a Swagger, as if he needed any more confidence.

Froslass receives the power of the Helm again.

Sheer Cold 3
(3)(6)(3)(1)(6)(2) (3)(4)
Deoxys takes 2 PDD, 16 damage done so far.

Astonish 3
CD: (1)(2)(2)

Deoxys is flinched this turn!

Attack Order 3
(5)(4)(4)(6)(4)(3) (3)(5)
That's 18PDD!

Cosh moves the Swagger's ill effects onto Deoxys, and the alien beast actually seems to be acting confused! There are also a few creative Burns, minor curses, and so on from the supporting Scimitars. "Fire and Flying attacks will be super effective on Deoxys now."

Dark Pulse 3, boosted by Frozen Roar
(4)(6)(4)(4)(6)(6) (6)(2)
CD: (2)(1) Honchkrow is harrying Deoxys, trying to make it flinch.

Kyuu gives Cosh a helping hand. He'll give this to Froslass on his next action, powering up the final Sheer Cold.

Sheer Cold 4
(6)(3)(5)(4)(5)(6) (3)
20 PDD! Bits of Deoxys have frozen, and some of its flexible joints are creaking. Its gem is frosted over, and, could it be? Has begun to crack! When Deoxys attempts to graft some healing flesh over the gym, it confusedly makes the crack even worse.

Ominous Wind 4
(1)(1)(3)(5)(6)(3)
CD: (5)

"Finally time." Deoxys attempts a Rock Slide that will bring down Vespiquen and Froslass at the minimum.

Vespiquen is ready to dodge though: 17 base, -8 actions = 9d6
(3)(3)(6)(1)(6)(2) (4)(6)(4) That was a reallllly close one.

Froslass has no orders to dodge, and thus takes 2PDD and faints.

Luna drops to 1HP, having been Max Potion'd earlier.

Mamoswine evades: (2)(5)(5)(4)(4)(5) (6)(2) Still up
Meowstic evades: (3)(1)(5)(2)(2)(2) (5)(3) Faints.
Pangoro is out of actions, so takes 1 PDD.
Honchkrow: (1)(3)(4)(5)(2)(5) (3) Not even super luck makes it happen. Honchkrow faints.
Cosh evades by ducking behind one of his "friends", who faints.

Astonish 5
CD: (6)(2)(6)

The semi-flinched, Imprisoned, confused Deoxys has a chance to hurt itself. Not a very big chance, given its prodigious Insight, but it's something, especially over repeated turns.

Insight: (4)(3)(1)(2)(2)(1) Deoxys strikes itself in its confusion! Dealing 1 PDD, moving us to 21PDD total.

This also gives Vespiquen time to strike one more blow!

Attack Order 5
(6)(1)(5)(1)(1)(3) Barely a hit, but it's enough to bring Deoxys to 23PDD. The rainbow-gemmed Deoxys is trying repeatedly to flee beneath the earth, but Meowstic's grinning gaze keeps reeling it right back in with an incredible psychic power, channeled through Cosh and the Hauberk. It desperately claws at the ground with Cut, creating a massive chasm in the middle of Trillium Town. Though it gives itself a little cover, it can't leave line of sight entirely. The scene is one long groan of sustained subsonic blast.

Martha and Mallorn float forward in their MSC crystals. They leap teasingly in front of you and are then yanked away. Deoxys lashes at them, but finds itself moving too slowly from its variety of debuffs and especially Dunny's Curse.

Deoxys leaps straight for Nathan, intending to end the battle in one blow.

Spira notices Deoxys' movements; "Oh no you don't! Go, Toya! Fire Punch it into oblivion! Luna, Fly, but charge it longer; Put everything you have into it to ignore the pain!"

Heart look the scene, and act with protective friend, Revive Quetzal. Heart also summon Viktor. "Deoxys! You will not harm him! Quetzal! Intercept him as much quick possible! Crunch on him! Viktor! Use your power over nature to call the trees to restrain Deoxys at least a little bit! If necessary you two Dodge!"

Crunch accuracy: Dex+Fight+Brawl-Actions= 9/8/7/6/5
damage: Strength+Power+SE+STAB: 9D6+1
Notes: Gonna ignore pain this round. If Quetzal not able to Crunch in enough time, he will instead intercept Deoxys and received most damage to distract Deoxys to Nathan summon the sword. It might faint him again, but if Nathan loose the sword we toast.

Other orders: Viktor will summon his power over Nature to at least restrain Deoxys movement. Dodge maneuvering as always. Heart also mount in Quetzal back to summon flames in Deoxys more closely, focusing in it's Crystal. This might make Deoxys redirect it's attention.

On Toya last Fire Punch to give the Ghost extra accuracy and Power. Also @Mikaruge108 don't forget Toya Iron Fist ability who gives your Pokemon extra damage on Punch Moves.

Unless you use a Max Potion on him, Quetzal's probably dead if he takes another PDD.

@Iron, can I at least use a Full Restore on Quetzal to at least he did not die if takes another PDD?

You can if you wait to order him onto the battlefield until the second turn.

Then I going to that plan. Viktor will focus on summon Nature power to at least wrap Deoxys to not let him get closer to Nathan. In case Deoxys drop the sword, Quetzal action will be grab the sword and give back to Nathan. Heart also would use a Full Restore on Quetzal to at least he not die by PDD. Heart also use Fire Earthpower to burn Deoxys. Perhaps help Viktor summon nature power with Earthpower.

Terra gasps when Deoxys manages to rip off her Shield and fling it off somewhere around Mt. Molten, with him bellowing out in horror "NO! FUCK!" , before gripping a fist and rapidly command Melly to chase after and retrieve it ASAP, urgency and desperation heavy in his tone!

"MELLY, GO GET SHIELD AND COME BACK QUICKLY, NOW! RUN FAST AS YOU CAN, AND DON'T LET ANYTHING STOP YOU! GO GO GO!!!"

Needing little motivation to do what she loved best for her master and friends, the lightning fenrir bolts off at the speed of a turbo charged sport's car, smearing into yellow-blue blur as she races off after the most protective Artifact! She cover ground fast, faster than ever before, pushing herself to her very limit before shattering it like it was nothing, and the sagely monk himself whirls into Action, recalling Dunny once he Faints and sending out Pixie at speeds never before witnessed, as he himself strains the depths of his latent potential and almost violently dredging up forceful, blistering swiftness! Terra's DEX is increased to *6 and Athletics is increased to 2 for 76 XP! He's a lumbering giant no more, and he intends to prove that in short order!

"PIXIE, USE TAUNT ON COSH, THEN START DODGING AND BLOCKING ATTACKS! COSH, GET READY TO TRANSFER MORE STATUS ONTO DEOXYS!"

Orders: Pixie will use Taunt on Cosh, then spend her last 4 Actions Evading and/or Block DEOXYS PRIME'S Moves (The former if they Target only her/EVERYONE, the later if they want to Attack Nathan/Shiva/Spira/Cosh singlely). However, if Rage Powder would work if Cosh could empower it with his Artifact, she'll use it on DEOXYS and wait for him to 'trigger' it, before using Taunt for him to transfer and Evading Three times. Terra will still prioritize healing (With a Max Potion and helping Nathan Evade (When he can), and will also use his new Speed to literally park himself right in front of the boy so that he grants them cover and forces the interstellar invader to go through him first. Also, that insult is still at the ready to be said after he's healed Nathan, just in case Pixie's Rage Powder can't be cheated into working. If Melly comes back mid-Round with the Shield, she'll race over to re-equip it to Shiva. That's it, so let's get to it and see if we prevail or are going to be experimented upon!

Both Rage Powder and Taunt both have a 17D6 Dice Pool (That new 2 DEX helps!), and Evasion is 11D6, so apply the 5 Action Cost and Pain across all Actions as appropriate.
