Getting a chance to watch the... despondently TERRIBLE Ghost in the Shell film recently just reminded me how much I missed anime. Obviously the poison of choice in a Pokemon forum will likely be Pokemon, but it's always interesting to see what people are watching.

My own preferences, lean towards mecha and psychological drama, though anything with an oddball or awesome enough premise that catches my attention will likely cause me to give it a shot. No real preferences between Seinen and Shonen shows - my taste fluctuate between the two based on my own moods.

Currently, staying apace of the current season of Boku no Hero Academia, and it's working out for me as a 'switch off brain and revel in the chaos' type experience.


Previously came in off a binge watch of Log Horizon, which I was recommended by a friend.

So, it's no secret that this fangame is known for having one of the best and worst final boss battles in history. Urayne Gamma is immensely overpowered and if you are unprepared, you might get softlocked at the final battle. 

So until the devs can fix that, I have a solution that lets you win against Gamma 100% of the time. All you need is Actan, 5 other pokemon and knowledge of how the AI works. 

So, start off the battle like usual with Actan in the front of your party. Switch out. Yes, switch out Actan immediately- Urayne is programmed to use its best coverage moves, so it will try and Overheat you 90% of the time. Switch to something, let Urayne kill it, then switch Actan back in. Urayne will try to use Overheat again, switch out to fodder.

Rinse and repeat this strategy, at least until Urayne has used Proton Beam / Overheat to make it's special attack -6. This isn't enough to KO your Actan anymore, and it will be Intimidated too much to use Atomic Punch, so proceed for the kill with either Actan or your other pokemon. Optional: Stall out Overheat's 5pp for a sure kill with Actan. 

And that's how you can get out of soft locking in this stage every single time!

Iron Fist is an ability that boosts the base damage of punching moves by 20% if someone doesn't know.

While I think the bonus percentage could be a bit higher, what could really use a change is the affected move-set. If i have this wrong my apologies, but as far as i know only these are effected:

Bullet Punch
Drain Punch
Dynamic Punch
Fire Punch 
Ice Punch
Thunder Punch
Focus Punch
Mach Punch
Meteor Mash
Sky Uppercut
 
The problem is there are multiple other moves that are explained to be punching moves or are close enough to pass in name or description(in my opinion).
These are:

Strength
Rock Smash
Brick Break
Golden Fist
Hammer Arm
Mega Punch
Sucker Punch

Some wouldn't really matter I know, but considering Frikitiki (the only pokemon with Iron Fist currently) can only learn 2/10 of the moves Iron Fist effects right now I don't see why they shouldn't. Writing this out also makes me wonder how someone could test if the effected moves listed on wiki are actually correct lol.
