Sooo... I'm not sure really how else to describe these, other than very simplistic kinds of "poster" designs.

In other words, I can't draw worth a squat but I can recolor sprites (see: my Nuclear Sprite thread that I still need to organize better).  Or I can throw some sprites around on a black screen and add text to make something that might pass as art... or it might be total crap.  You decide. 


This one is based off a random anonymous quote I saw online, and pretty much sums up how I see my character in this game.  I'm putting it behind a spoiler tag even though it's not "technically" spoilers since... well, you should probably at least be past Omicron before expanding it.  Zeta might be better, but I actually made this before conquering it, so....

Fan Characters for a Uranium Story

 



Okay so basically I have this problem: I literally create entire stories on the fly whenever I get excited. I'm talking characters, character arcs, themes and motifs, villains, epic fight scenes, the works. So I created a story in my head when I beat Uranium for the first time spontaneously because of course I did.

You might not think this is a problem until you realize I've probably done this 100+ times. At least 43 for sure. Long story how I got that number...

Anyway let's get this idea out of my head. My Fanbased Uranium story involves these two as the protagonists- Raizen the Volchick and Sylvia the Orchynx. Essentially, Raizen was a ninja prodigy but when the Power Plant blew up ten years ago he lost his arm and his memory, apparently he was at ground zero somehow unharmed aside from that. Anyway, Raizen went into a mega depression due to the lost arm thing and it wasn't until Sylvia entered the picture that he started to cheer up. 

Sylvia is also a badass who wants to take on the elite four and become champion. For a while, she was also mega depressed because her mom died in that nuclear power plant explosion, but she remembers promising her mother to be the strongest in all of Tandor, so she gets over it pretty quickly. After ten years pass and they both turn 15-16 ish, Sylvia decided to begin her journey to take on the Elite Four. She eventually gets Raizen to join her by making him realize he still hasn't lost the will to fight. And so the two of them head to battle everyone!

And then gijinka Urayne shows up and is absurdly powerful. Oh yeah, and apparently Raizen met him in the past, and Raizen has to kill Urayne before he destroys the world. THE PLOT THICKENSSSSSSSS-

Anyway that's the premise. There's a crapton more but I won't go into it to save you all from reading for 10 hours. I'll probably do a gijinka Urayne sketch next because in my head I have the perfect blend of creepy and imposing for that guy.

Since Pokémon get more XP when traded, I can offer to level up Pokémon like Devimp/Volchik and evolve them quicker than otherwise, if anyone wants.

Hi everyone! My names Pandah and i've been playing this game for 2 weeks and love it. I'm always going to the wiki for info on the game and never got around to making an account here. I finally made one and i'm liking the community already! Don't really have anything else to say so if you got a question just ask me!!

I'am having a issue with Pokémon Uranium, that make the game too laggy. I went to Pokémon Uranium reddit, and after i went to FAQ and the answer of my FAQ was to patch to the latest version, but i didn't find a 1.0.4 patch. So i searched in youtube and got a video that says to extract the file Uranium.rgssad. I extracted, opened the game and it was the same thing. But i noted that was no folder than "Data", and then i noted that i need to find some patch, the only patch that i finded was a 1.0.1, but i thinked that was too old.

 In resume, my game is too laggy and i need a 1.0.4 Patch.

Observation: Sorry for my bad English, i'am from Brazil.

Hello everyone. Well, after what i heard in the Game Awards about Nintendo ask to Uranium and AMR2 to be out from the Award of Best Fangame (i hate you even more Nintendo) this confirm my theory: Nintendo dont have any sense of morals and they spit in the face of any fan action. And i think this way: When they discover Uranium still alive, THEY will take down again the game, the online features, and more worse, the Forums. Nintendo dont care about the fans, they dont care about the creators of fangames, the only they really care its make money. I know, i know, by the law they have all copryrights of the games and everything, but the fans dont ask any money, its just something they do to show the apreciation and love to the games, and that Nintendo crushs that work. They dont give a damn about fans.

My sugestion, its to make some way to save the system and code about the forums, and some way creat a backup if is possible, so that way, even they take down the forums, to have another place to go. And second: To try not warn about the revive of the forums and the game itself. Some of you might think: "But Nintendo already took down the forums. They not try again". My friends, after all things Nintendo do, you still have doubts they would not try again? If is what you think, we can only wait for the worse.

Hi there! I'm new, but I would like to make a suggestion c:

I noticed while playing on my second save file after catching a Brailip that it has two abilities ::

Rock Head and Swift Swim

Of the two, Swift Swim is the only one that has any actual function for this pokemon. Why is that?

Rock Head could be a great ability, but Brailip - -at least according to the wiki -- does not learn any moves that have recoil damage.


My suggestion is to either change Brailip's second ability to something that makes more sense for the pokemon, or expand its movepool slightly to include at least one move with recoil damage.

A few moves that currently exist that could make sense ::

Take Down
Double-Edge
Submission
Head Charge


Obviously, I'm not suggesting we add ALL of these moves. It could even be cool if a new move was created that had recoil damage, perhaps even a Psychic move, considering Brailip is Psychic.


Now, I'm not sure if Brailip and its evo are the most competitive pokemon out there, so this suggestion may not seem important at all, and that's fine. But I do think it could still be nice if it were changed.

And maybe there are other pokemon out there with similar issues that I'm as of yet unaware of. I am still very new to the game after all. c:

Good morning! I've lurked for a few days while looking for an answer, but I haven't yet been able to find one for absolute certain. Sorry if it was obviously stated somewhere and I'm just being a bit slow.

How can I check that I have the latest version? The folder in which my game is stored is called "Pokemon Uranium 1.0" and within that folder along with everything else is a readme, also numbered 1.0. My limited experience with mods tells me this doesn't really mean anything, but I wanted to make sure before progressing with this save and finding I've got the wrong version.

I've edited my .ini with the changes specified on the reddit, including the new patch-search destination. I did this when I first downloaded the game (a few days ago) and after loading from the patcher that time, it downloaded some sort of update. But in the box with green writing I read "Patch Update 1.0.4E - 28th October." Yet elsewhere on this site I'm seeing mentions of 1.0.2 and even 3, and on the reddit the latest I'm seeing says 1.0.1H or something like that.

So, tl;dr: where do I find something I can check to make explicitly sure I have the latest version?

The moment when you released a pokemon with no good nature and no good ivs....
