Hello fellow players,

This morning, I open my patcher and proceed to install the new patch 1.0.4E. Everything goes fine during the download until the "Processing downloaded patches...". There, I get a first error message saying "Unknown error : PU_patch104E.rar" and then another one pops-up saying "Fatal error PU_patch104E.rar". After that, the patcher crashes. 

In my Pokemon Uranium folder, a new file appeared, called "PU_patch104.rar", but I can't open it. 

I should mention I'm playing the game with Wine, on a MacBook Pro mid-2012. 

Does anybody have the same problem, or any solution to bring? Thanks in advance guys!

By both old and new players the questions we get asked the most are where to download or update the game. I made this post as the other guides on this site are outdated and over-complicated. We have done everything we can to make this as easy as possible.

If you have a recent version of the game (1.0.2 or above) all you need to do is run the Patcher.exe program in your game folder (located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Pokemon Uranium Team\Pokemon Uranium 1.0 by default) It will automatically download and install all the newest updates for you.

If you don't already have the game or are on a old version you can download it from HERE. This link is constantly kept up to date and will always be the latest version. After downloading this version of the game you can then just use the patcher for all future updates.

Howdy Uranium Fans!

Game Dev @ReeNormies just pushed out an update for Pokemon Uranium dubbed 1.0.4E This patch contains every patch since 1.0.0 and will be a much larger download, this is to ensure that people who haven't yet updated will find updating easier, this also means that all future patches will be much smaller in size.

Patch notes below
Update 1.0.4E
Fixed issues with berry plants causing crashes.
Fixed clipping issue after taking the ferry to Bealbeach.
Fixed crash when battling on route 8.
Fixed Theo and his dad being invisible in the hospital.

Note: This update contains all patches after 1.0.0. This is so that new players (or players that haven't kept up to date after the initial release) will be able to update to the newest version more easily. Because of this the update is quite large, however this means that future updates will be much smaller then they would have otherwise been.

Next time you see him, be sure to give a shoutout to Ree for his work in this update.

Basically all you people out there with your translation threads have kinda made me wanna do the same...

I'm kinda bored, with all my breeding boxes filled already, not gonna be much to do until next WT event... And I think I'm qualified enough to translate English-Vietnamese given I was born and spent the majority of my time alive as a Vietnamese and I've finished college in the US, I also took some small gig translation jobs over the years every now and then... So yeah, question's pretty straight forward, should I go bother Andro regarding a Vietnamese translation?

It's not exactly necessary since most Vietnamese had been playing Pokemon games in English so far and we've had no problem understanding, but I've always wondered why no one translated Pokemon games into Vietnamese...

Okay so I super adore Theo's character growth throughout this game and just uhg the dedication he has towards Pluto (and the other main characters of course, I just played as Pluto bc they're cute af) and their safety is just so heart-warming. There's not nearly enough fan art of these two losers in the fandom and that is a crime
