this is my team

lv 79 s51 a (this thing is a beast it can learn so many moves)
lv 90 harylect (it was supposed to be a seinkmaster but i caught the wrong genders grrrrrrrrr)
lv 86 terlard ( the one you catch at level 22, careful with his stats thought he is a beast cuz of his level but his stats are not the best)
lv 80 glaceon
lv 100 ninja trained baariette (dont ninja train ur pokemon to 100 is no longewr fun when they are over powered and you no longer see them gain levels)
lv 80 dunseraph

i enjoyed the game but  made several mistakes along the way... first it had been years since i had played so my team was pretty unbalanced ... i had TWO water pokemon... it was so hard to leggo of that loyal level 40 corsreef ...=(.... but her i needed an electric pokemon thats when seikmast... wait harylect came in lol hhahahahah.....

also i changed my pokemon to often making them hard to level ... i abandoned a splendiful and my starter (should have looked at the stats what a mistake) among others...

so my advice would be DONT CHANGE UR TEAM ... unless u catch a legendary or something lol.... look at the average stats  ampharos is not the same as kinetimunk lol.....

ninja train if you are having trouble with the championship...

btw my levels are post game meaning post catching actan and lactan beating the championship twice and ninja training my pokemon etc

now im into breeding but having issues any suggestions would be appreciated here

hi everyone so I just finished pokemon uranium yayyyyyyyy and i wanted to star breeding and i thought it was as easy as male female pokemon of the same species and then you get an egg thats it lol.... well i was so mistaken

so i want to breed a Baashaun i have all the items from the ninjas plus the destiny know but im note sure exactly how to use it i have 4 pokemon of the same species

a level 26 female baaschaf with
21 attack
18 defense
26 sp atk
4 sp defes
11 speed

and 3 male pokemon of the same species

1) i have a level 100 ninja trained male bariette

with 30 attack
9 defense
25 sp atk
20 special defense
and 6 speed

moxie and naughty nature

and moxie and bashful nature

2) a level 52 male baariette with
28 attack

23 attack
13 defense
12 sp atk
19 sp defense
7 speed

and moxie and quiet nature

I want it to get moxie as an ability

so which two should i breed , should i ninja train any before breeding them if so what stat should i raise,  what items should i use and how (this is my second egg as my first egg i just grabbed one male and one female barand and breed them i dunno if the stats where any good to begin with no items this time i wanna do it right)

second thing is what is the item that an egg holds that minimises the number of steps u gotta take to hatch the egg, i also got two duplicats

a shiny one with

21 attack
12 defense
9 sp atk
5 sp def
9 speed

with lax nature and prankster

and a normal one with
2 attack
29 defense (wow i didnt even know)
12 sp atk
17 sp def
21 speed

with hasty nature ad prankster

i know u use them for breeding but i dont know how thanks for your help
to get a shiny pokemon would be cool but def not mandatory thanks for your time

If you want it, I have it. If I don't have it, I'll breed it.

All of my pokes are at least 5IV, 6IV upon request, nature upon request, I don't do desired pokeballs, I don't do desired egg moves.

I will give standard 5IV pokes for free.
Any request will cost one shiny (I collect them <3)

I don't currently do Hidden Abilities, though I will trade my own shinies for pokes possessing hidden abilities to start my HA breeding process.

Pokes I have in stock currently:
Eletux
Orchynx
Eevee
Flager
Chimical
Volchik
Masking
Antarki
S51

Pokes I can do quickly and easily:

  Ieep! I'm new! (or not!)
Posted by: Lord Ozma - 09-30-2016, 05:05 PM - Forum: Everything goes - Replies (25)

Ieep!

Let me introduce myself: I am Ozma, new guy here on the new forum. Not quite new to the Uranium community, some of you may know me from the old official forum, as I was there since at least one year prior to the full release. I notably contributed to the then promising project of a Tandor Casual League (which I have no idea if it still would be viable as of now...)

When I heard that Twitch and JV just left (apparently without reason) I was sad, really. I thought, this is a too abrupt ending to such a great adventure, especially considering so much was left to be done, and so many answers needed to be answered still. A huge shame, if you ask me, a huge disappointment too, but in all honesty, I really do feel like there was a reason. Knowing them, they had enough generosity to share with all of us here (and around) and the proof of this generosity is the Uranium game itself. Nevertheless, it still feels like a huge let-down from them. If anyone hears about what really happened, I'd be glad to hear more.

Anyways, I kinda lost hope that anything would be left of the old community, when I tried to search a bit further into whatever remnants of the community there could have been, and I winded up here, and on the Discord channel they all left behind. I kinda hope there are anybody left from the old forum here (and I'm not speaking of people originating from the huge wave of newcomers from just after the release, I'm speaking old-timers from the old forums). Of course I'm ready to blend in to all the new faces around town (though to you guys, I'M the new face! xD )

Apart from that, don't expect a huge activity from me, as I just entered university last month, and it's really eating a huge load of my free time. However I might be lurking around, so do look out for me when you least expect it.

I look forward to contributing, even if in the slightest, to the life of the new forum and to the community itself!

  Pokemon Showcase: Chimaconda [Competitive]
Posted by: Reeveelution - 09-30-2016, 04:12 PM - Forum: Competitive Discussion - Replies (15)

Have you guys missed me already? I hope not, for now I shall bring you another Pokemon Showcase!

Welcome to my thread all about Chimaconda! Big Grin

Welcome back guys to my Pokemon Showcase of Chimaconda, Theo's magical 3rd party pokemon, like really, how did you get that before you got to route 9??? the Chimera Pokemon! As usual, I will be covering various spreads and sets I see viable on the showcased Pokemon, and as usual, you guys are free to seek, adopt and use any of these sets as you feel willing to. So feel free to stick around, read up! Perhaps what you needed for your team is here on this thread~

For those who doesn't know what I'm talking about, here's Chimaconda!

[OVERVIEW] Chimaconda

Chimaconda [Fire/Poison]
Abilities: Petrify or Contrary [HA]

His base stats is shown below!

HP - 95
Attack - 80
Defense - 90
Sp. Att - 100
Sp. Def - 100
Speed - 85

Base Total: 550

Defensive Spread: 95/90/100
Offensive Spread: 80/100/85

A Pokemon idea and design that I still have no idea why haven't Gamefreak done yet in its original games, this serpentine-beast hybrid boasts some very balanced stat distribution which makes it capable of fitting certain niche' roles in the metagame. Being the only Pokemon in Uranium that has access to Petrify and Contrary, Chimaconda by itself is now a viable Trump Card that many players should caution against. Petrify decreases all opponent's Speed by one stage, similar to how Intimidate decreases all opponent's Attack by one stage; whereas Contrary reverses the stat boost or losses applied onto Chimaconda.

Chimaconda's unique typing also made it resistant to 8 different types, of which 3 of such types are doubly resisted to (Bug, Grass, and Fairy) and is also immune to both Will-o-Wisp and Toxic, making its surprisingly easier than many other Pokemon to switch in safely. However, this fact should not be abused as it is also quadruple-y weak to the most common offensive type in this game, Ground. This fact makes Chimaconda one of the more situational Pokemon to use in the competitive Pokemon Uranium scene; as it is also outshined by many other viable Fire-Type Pokemon. I'm looking at you, Archilles and Inflagetah! >:C

And well, time's up for this Chimera Pokemon's overview. Time to introduce to you its possible viable movesets!

[1] Petrifying!

Chimaconda w/ Choice Specs or Air Balloon (once its released anyways... :c)
Abilities: Petrify
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 Sp.Att/ 4 Def/ 252 Speed

Fire Blast
Sludge Bomb
Dark Pulse
Hidden Power Fighting

Strategy: Want a versatile annoyance 'mon that deals damage quickly against your foes? This may just be the set you are looking for. Throw Chimaconda out (which can be fairly easy to do thanks to its large amount of resistances) and either force them to switch out and face the wrath of the predicted switch, or have them stay in and face the wrath of the predicted stay. Confusing? I hope not! Chimaconda's Petrify slows down the opposing foe's speed by 0.66x, making it very possible for Chimaconda to outspeed many other Pokemon that would otherwise outspeed it; pressuring and posing a huge threat to the opposing team. Its primary STAB Fire Blast and Sludge Bomb is a must-have on a Choice Specs set, Dark Pulse is a useful coverage move against Psychic types, whilst it's Hidden Power Fighting is a great coverage move for Chimaconda. (More reason to why this particular HP is selected is explained under Checks and Counters). This set is only recommended to the more experienced player that are able to outpredict the opponents and act accordingly, depending on how the opposition will act the next turn and pump some painful STAB moves with Choice Specs in its arsenal. As I will go though details of this set soon, you will soon realize that this set can be hard to make good use of, but it will otherwise be one of the best annoying Bruisers out there to deal with in the Pokemon Uranium franchise.

Side Notes: Once Air Balloon is released, it may be desirable to equip it with the said item. With it, Chimaconda will be thankful and will have a much easier time switching (if it hasn't already) on a predicted Ground move, slow the opponent down, and do its job as a Bruiser. However, Chimaconda's typing also makes it very easy to switch into incoming U-turns, receiving 1/4 the damage, and therefore making Choice Specs the better choice if you prefer to switch in against predicted U-turns as Air Balloons will pop otherwise if Chimaconda is hit by U-turn. Meanwhile, if your team needs for a Pokemon which is resistant to Fairy moves and deals back hard, Chimaconda can fit this niche as well. Fairies such as Sylveon, Whimsicott, Winotinger, Oblivicorn, and Luxelong can't very much damage Chimaconda thanks to all its resistances, with the later two being able to hit back with Earthquake and Dragon Pulse respectively. Magic Bouncing Fairy Pokemon like Mega Kiricorn and Nimflora are also affected by Petrify and just dies to its Spec'd STAB Sludge Bomb. However, there should be caution when using it against M-Kiricorn as it can still outspeed at -1 and can hit back with Earthquake it by 4 points if it has a Speed-Boosting Nature, making Air Balloon a good item to have once again. And as usual, please do take note that this set is best by experienced players that are able to predict their opponents. Therefore, it may not exactly be the best set to use for a beginner, as really, really, need to outpredict your opponents for this Chimaconda set to be useful.

Checks and Counters: Chimaconda's Petrify ability is extremely useful against the opponents, however Chimaconda by itself isn't exactly the fastest Pokemon, let alone best damage-dealer out there. Therefore it could use all the extra damage and speed deduction it can get to stake things out. A suicide lead such as Raffiti can be used to set up quickly in your favour by setting up as many Spikes, Stealth Rocks, and Sticky Web with learnup move Taunt or Sketch'd Roar or Sketch'd Dragon Tail to aid in your team and Chimaconda's petrifying abilities. Needless to say, VoltTurn'ers; specifically slow VoltTurn'ers such as Seikamater, Nimflora and Gliscor that can soak in bits of damage is also useful for the Chimera Pokemon to ensure it a safe switch into battle, while Chimaconda can proceed to Petrify the opponents the very same turn. Chimaconda, like pretty much with every other Fire Pokemon in this game, is also walled by Water Pokemon. Therefore, as usual, Metalynx and Yatagaryu can be considered to have as a party Pokemon to counter such checks against Chimaconda. Caution should also be held when Chimaconda is against a team that has either Beliadon, Kiricorn, Oblivicorn, Alpico and also Herolune as all these Pokemon stated can have Defiant or Competitive as its Ability. Because of that, Hidden Power Fighting is preferred if you KNOW for certainty you can knock out these following Pokemon after Petrifying them (and thus, boosting their Attack or Sp. Att stat), baiting them to stay instead of switch out (due to its received stat boost), and proceed to act accordingly as most of these Pokemon are weak to Fighting or its STAB Sludge Bomb. To finish up Chimaconda's job, fast Sweepers and revenge killers such as Offensive Quiver Dance Seikamater, Choice Scarfed Pokemon such as Moxie Laissure and Baariette, Harptera and other Pokemon with Priority moves such as Mach Punch/Shadow Sneak Navighast will definitely wrap things up and end the battle.

[2] "On the Contrary..."

Chimaconda w/ Life Orb or Choice Scarf
Abilities: Contrary
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 Defense/ 252 Sp. Att/ 252 Speed

Overheat
Sludge Bomb
Hidden Power Grass/Electric
Taunt/ Dark Pulse

Strategy: Introducing to you: Something that isn't Serperior but it still sure is good! Unlike Serperior, Contrary Chimaconda has the added advantage of getting not one, but two powerful STABs, Fire and Poison. Overheat benefits from Contrary's effects, allowing Chimaconda to spam STAB Overheat again and again and get a massive 2x Sp. Attack boost for every hit it makes. Sludge Bomb is a great special STAB Poison move, and Hidden Power Grass or Electric is needed on Chimaconda to get rid of pesky Water Pokemon. Hidden Power Grass is the preferred HP however, as it can also be used to effectively deal against Rock Pokemon. Taunt is a useful niche move that can be used against the enemy to prevent set up while you set up against it, but if you prefer more coverage moves, Dark Pulse is useful against the Psychic Types such as Dramsama and Espeon that ever decides to cross its path.

Side Notes: If you are unsettled about Chimaconda's lacking speed and you have no access to Sticky Webs or Speed-boosted Baton Pass from your party Pokemon, one can opt to run Choice Scarf on Chimaconda. This held item has the added benefit of outspeeding all the Psychic Pokemon that would check and counter it otherwise. Also, unlike set [1], this set is sooooooooooo much more easier to make use of (phew, did you know that it took me 4 hours to write down set 1?). Until then, Overheat will be your number 1. move you will make on Contrary Chimaconda to boost up those Sp. Attack, allowing one to sweep easier and easier the next turn.

Checks and Counters: Chimaconda's lackluster speed needs to be covered as usual, and once again Sticky Web set up is wonderfully beneficial to the Chimera that couldn't sweep teams easier otherwise. Examples of Sticky Web users are Nimflora, Seikamater, and Sketch Raffiti. Otherwise, the one-shot pony Stenowatt can also be used to Baton Pass its Special Attack and Speed stat boosts to Chimaconda. However, all the Speed and Special Attack in the world will not mean anything if its walled by bulky Water Pokemon or Ground Pokemon like Escartress, Syrentide, Laissure and Specially Defensive Tubareel; of which Tubareel has access to STAB Aqua Jet. So once again, Metalynx and other Grass-Type Pokemon is a great partner candidate for Chimaconda (I swear! Somehow all the Pokemon I showcase can pair up well with Metalynx! :I). Flash Fire Pajay will also stop Chimaconda from setting up Overheat and give it its so desired stat boost, thus Stealth Rock set up is recommended to reap in more free damage against Ho-oh's lesser cousin and other Pokemon that will be eventually sent in to receive its doom. With no access to recovery moves, Clerics such as Sylveon, Glavinug, and Luxelong can also serve Chimaconda well by ridding it of the crippling Paralysis status as well as Wish pass some health for it to ensure its longelivity, or allowing safer switch-ins with Wish in tow.

Welps, that's the only 2 sets I can present to you now before my roadtrip soon!

If you're surprised that I only presented 2 movesets and not 5 like my other showcases well... I'm sorry! XD I've put in too much effort in set [1] and now I will be sleep deprived again before my road trip in the morning XD

Credits to @Lord Windos for pressuring me- I mean wha? for recommending me this Pokemon for the next Pokemon Showcase I will write, as well as the peeps from Breeder's Guild who are reading this right now! You guys know who you are ;3

And with that said, I shall officially end this Pokemon Showcase! See you soon for the next upcoming Pokemon Showcase coming near you!

Some kind of "Post-Uranium RP" - Now finished and open for questions!
Posted by: PhantomUnderYourDesk - 09-30-2016, 03:03 AM - Forum: Roleplaying - Replies (80)

So... this was born out of a random thought of mine and is dragged here from a different thread. But well, simple thoughts can become ideas, and those ideas may bloom. Creating something that wasn't expected in the first place.

Important note
This is supposed to work as long as possible WITHOUT HUGE SPOILER of Uranium's main story. Chances are, here and there will be some minor ones, so if you'd like to avoid those, please choose carefully whether you're willing to read on.

EDIT 1: I'd advice you not to read on if you'd like to avoid spoilers completely.
Edit 2: Story's getting rather dark at some points, and may be not safe for work. Sorry for that, wasn't expected in the first place. Don't like, don't read.
Edit 3: Please don't post anything "not-serious" here. Comments and opinions are appreciated, though.

You have been warned.

Lucille appears from somwhere, wearing a clean white lab coat, a clipboard with important looking papers and a tired looking

A bespectacled man approached Lucille, eye heavy lidded and with an expression of pure exhaustion. In his hand are a pair of Luxi, playfully tusseling, and a binder in the crook of his arm. Her work a grey labcoat, wrinkled and stain with heavy use, that covered his entire body, except his shoes. The shoes in question where sturdy things, with steel toes and reinforced soles, and seemed to fit more for a Hiker than a Chemist/Breeder.

With a somewhat irritated grunt, he speaks to Lucille. Dodgy : "Your one to talk, given all the shennagens you've been up to. First the Nuclear sciences, then illegal Pokemon experimentation, and now behavior sciences, after you went of the handle. Given the all the shit you've been up too, I'm surprise Interpool has not seized your ass. Lucky you that your husband was Ex-Ranger Chief, eh?"

Hmm, when I try to mention you (that @-thing), it does not work for me.  And nevermind, the Pahar is a female one, so there's the opportunity to breed more. Pokerus can be spreaded and for that Masterball... that is mine.
But you inofficially asked for this ^-^ :

Nucleon opened two of its three eyes as it heard a voice that was clearly not the soft one of its master. It took a curious look at the Luxis, then at the man the suspicious voice probably belonged to, and hissed dangerously at him.

With a slight hand gesture Lucille managed to silence it, though. She's never been a person keen to argue (even if she would gladly smash this man's skull with the clipboard for trying to mess with her), plus this man disgusted her. Keeping a calm attitude, she replied with a simple "I have no idea what you're talking about, Sir" and walked off browsing through the papers, leaving that man behind her.

still breed and giveaway, just don't have the Masterball only.

oh...I'm sorry, I totally forgot to change the nickname, you can fly back to Nowtoch City and find "Name Rater" to change the nickname.

name rater house: 1st floor red mark building

I know very well where the NameRater is located, thanks. Problem is, only the OT (original trainer) is able to rename a Pokemon. Hence I cannot, he will only reply with "That's a nice nickname! Take good care of "insert nickname here". But duh, I don't want to trade it back to you simply for renaming... I by myself actually did several times in the official games, but only because I had two systems to play them on.
